Learn the four components of water rescue, which are judgement, knowledge, skill and fitness. Full attendance is required and a practical test must be passed for certification. Fitness Alberta® Aquatic Exercise Specialty Course

Through classroom learning and practical experience with other participants, you will learn the skills necessary to become a certified aquatic fitness instructor. Full attendance is required and a practical exam must be passed for certification. You will learn lifesaving techniques that will allow you to teach Swim for Life® swimming lessons, Canadian Swim Patrol, Bronze Star, Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross courses.
