Through classroom learning and practical experience with other participants, you will learn the skills necessary to become a certified aquatic fitness instructor. Full attendance is required and a practical exam must be passed for certification. Swim & Lifesaving Instructor - teens & adults

Sunday, March 22, 2026 • 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM

You will learn lifesaving techniques that will allow you to teach Swim for Life® swimming lessons, Canadian Swim Patrol, Bronze Star, Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross courses. You will: learn lifesaving techniques including First Aid and CPR be introduced to leadership and teaching skills take part in practical training Prerequisite: 15 years old and Bronze Cross or higher (candidates must present this award on the first day of the course). Intermediate First Aid, CPR-C & AED recertification
