In this four day course, kids and teens will develop leadership skills that can prepare them for opportunities at school and in the community. Learn the four components of water rescue, which are judgement, knowledge, skill and fitness. Full attendance is required and a practical test must be passed for certification. You will be introduced to lifesaving skills such as: tows and carries various defense and release methods for rescues of conscious and unconscious victims stroke efficiency and endurance being certified in CPR-C and AED Prerequisite: Bronze Star or 13 years old Please bring: Swimsuit, towel Forms/waivers: None

Fitness Alberta® Aquatic Exercise Specialty Course

Through classroom learning and practical experience with other participants, you will learn the skills necessary to become a certified aquatic fitness instructor. Full attendance is required and a practical exam must be passed for certification.
