Skating skills: summer day camp - kids (5 - 7 years)

About this event

Through games and activities on the ice, campers will learn basic skating skills such as standing, falling, pushing and stopping.?Camp activities may include trips to a local park, special guest visits and swim/water activities. The day will consist of: a skating lesson games and sports arts and crafts outdoor adventures, weather permitting Prerequisite: None Please bring: CSA approved hockey helmet, sharpened ice skates (we do not provide skate sharpening), gloves/mittens, a healthy lunch and snack, refillable water bottle, any necessary medication and weather appropriate clothing. Be prepared: Skate & Helmet Guidelines , Information about Helmets Video and Learn to Skate Program Video Forms/waivers: Day Camp Participant Information Form – available in the “My Forms” section of your Live and Play account , and Medication Permission and Record Form – Print only.
