About this event

Kids and teens will begin to be prepared for the Bronze Star in this pre-Bronze program. This program has three modules that will focus on water proficience, first aid skills and recognition and rescue techniques. They will learn: timed and endurance swims swimming with clothes on Water Smart® behaviour rescue skills first aid performance Prerequisite: Swimmer 6 Please bring: Swimsuit, towel Forms/waivers: None

Preschool 5: Swim for Life®

Your preschooler will continue to increase their swimming ability and be prepared for Swimmer 2 when they are six years old. They will learn to: tread water for 10 seconds forward roll into the pool in deep water do whip kicks and back crawl do interval training Prerequisite: Preschool 4 Please bring: Swimsuit, towel, swim diaper and plastic pants if not toilet trained. Forms/waivers: None

Preschool 3: Swim for Life®

While increasing their swimming skills, your preschool will also become more safe in and around the water in this swimming lesson. They will learn to: do a sideways entry into deep water while wearing a lifejacket retrieve objects from the bottom of the pool in waist deep water independently float, do lateral rollovers and glides Prerequisite: Preschool 2 Please bring: Swimsuit, towel, swim diaper and plastic pants if not toilet trained. Drawing - kids (7 - 10 years)
