Excellent swimmers will be prepared for the Bronze Star award in this swimming class. They will learn: lifesaving and first aid skills refine front and back crawl and breaststroke for 100 metres complete 600 metre workouts 300 metre timed swims Prerequisite: Swim Patrol: Ranger Please bring: Swimsuit, towel Forms/waivers: None

Swim & Lifesaving Instructor - teens & adults

You will learn lifesaving techniques that will allow you to teach Swim for Life® swimming lessons, Canadian Swim Patrol, Bronze Star, Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross courses. You will: learn lifesaving techniques including First Aid and CPR be introduced to leadership and teaching skills take part in practical training Prerequisite: 15 years old and Bronze Cross or higher (candidates must present this award on the first day of the course). Apprenticeship: In course. This course requires 100% attendance and participation to complete. Please bring: Swimsuit, towel Forms/waivers: None
