This skating lesson is for kids who are confident with the basics of skating will increase their skills and be introduced to new ways to move on the ice. Through drills and activities, they will learn: one-foot glides L-push forward and backwards sculling backwards skating Prerequisite: Skating lessons 2 or equivalent. Please bring: CSA approved hockey helmet, ice skates (Ensure skates are sharp. Bronze Cross® - teens & adults

Learn advanced lifesaving skills that will prepare you for lifeguarding. Bronze Cross is needed for all advanced training programs, including National Lifeguard and Instructor certifications. Full attendance is required and a practical test must be passed for certification. You will learn lifesaving techniques that will allow you to teach Swim for Life® swimming lessons, Canadian Swim Patrol, Bronze Star, Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross courses. You will: learn lifesaving techniques including First Aid and CPR be introduced to leadership and teaching skills take part in practical training Prerequisite: 15 years old and Bronze Cross or higher (candidates must present this award on the first day of the course). Become a certified lifeguard through in-pool and classroom learning. Full attendance is required and a practical test must be passed for certification.
