Participants living with dementia will take part in a low-intensity exercise class to improve their overall well-being. This class will offer both seated and standing exercises. Trained staff will provide support and maintain structure throughout each class. Care partners are welcome to provide support and connect with others. Through a set of choreographed movements that simulate striking techniques, you will continue to grow your kung fu skills like: heel, diagonal, swing, twist, and hook kicks punches, bumps, shoves, blocks and hooking strikes holding, falling, and rolling Prerequisite: Completion of a beginner Kung Fu class Please bring: Comfortable clothes (uniform is not required), clean indoor shoes if you do not want to participate barefoot, water bottle Forms/waivers: None

You will take part in exercises that will help support healthy posture and build strength in your bones to prevent fall-related injuries. You will learn how to: correctly do weight bearing activities build strength in your arms, legs and core increase your stability through balance activities Prerequisite: Gentle Fitness 3 - Must be comfortable doing 30+ minutes of continuous activity.
