About this event

You will take part in a variety of resistance exercises that will improve your strength, while spending time with your baby and other parents. Your baby can be in a carrier or on an exercise mat during class. You will: re-connect with your body restore your abdominals build total body strength increase your mental health by socializing with other parents Prerequisite: Your baby must be registered for this class. Ensure your doctor has cleared you to exercise. Please bring: Clean indoor shoes, water bottle, towel, warm layers for your baby, a blanket or carrier for your baby if desired Forms/waivers: None

Tethered deep water workout - teens & adults

Friday, August 14, 2026 • 10:30 PM - 11:15 PM

In deep water, you will be tethered to a lane rope by a bungee to increase the intensity of a standard deep-water workout. You will wear a floatation belt to increase your: cardio fitness muscular endurance overall fitness Prerequisite: Must be comfortable in deep water without assistance and be able to use the ladder to get in and out of the pool (please inquire beforehand if the facility has a lift) Please bring: Swimsuit, water bottle, towel Forms/waivers: None

Weight room orientation - older adults

By taking part in classroom learning and practical experience with other participants, you will learn the skills required to become a certified older adult fitness instructor.
